I play GT4 on my PS2 Slim, and I love it. The menu & aesthetic, not to mention the soundtrack, are super on point. The graphics are stunning for a 2004 game, and the progression is super fun and challenging. I’d recommend getting the game, but just to be sure, check out someone’s GT4 let’s play series to see if you think the game looks fun to play. I personally watch Sky Hurricane’s GT4 playthrough. Oh, and one more thing, if you’re gonna get a PS2 Slim, purchase an SCPH 9000 model. It’s the most reliable variant. Don’t buy a SCPH 7500 model, though, because that model had laser problems and scratched discs quite a bit. This is a really long comment, though, so I’m gonna have to end it here.

As someone who has played GT2, GT4, GT5 & GT6, I’ve clocked at least a thousand hours on GT4, a couple hundred on GT2, and probably a hundred on GT5 & 6. My PS2 is gone now, but i still have my GT4 disc just in case i have the chance to play it again. Theres something about it thats just not in the others. I just hope GT7 on PS5 will be like GT4, if yes, I would most def buy a PS5. I could go on and on about the small details but, it is subjective. You’ll just have to try it out and see if you like it or not.
