Perhaps one of the most underrated in the game. This thing is mad on soft tires. With automatic transmission to raise the top speed, it has supercar capabilities, reaching around 600PP.

I would pick Cadillac since they are in the hypercar category. They also made plenty of great vehicles across all eras.

Ah look, it's the scene kid, again!
Hey, it's the scene kid again.
Tough one to agree on but I think the following Brands stand out in several racing categories in the game relative to others, especially alongside their achievements in motorsports upon which GT bases it's design.
Mclaren, Ferrari, Porsche, Toyota, BMW, Audi and Nissan. Think Kaz dislikes American cars in a way.
Think the last yodate was more focused on adjusting the gameplay in some area rather than content. Really hope that the content curve has not flattened before declining.
I would use the power restrictor in this case.
The 97 Porsche GT Strassversion was developed to be homoglated in the GT1 class (comparable to Gr.2 in the game). While it is not the GT1 car, it is pretty close.
Is anyone going to talk about how good this car is? It drives amazing and not far from the F1 cars in PP. PS: You can use it as a cash cow for many circuit events.
How about none? Real life racing prototypes seem more appealing to the larger part of the fanbase.
Source?
I have been a long time fan of GT since I was a kid, probably like many people here. It was the only game I appreciated at every stage of my life. I was finally able to get GT7 lately and after playing, I have a rather solid opinion that may not go in hand with the popular one.
The game is actually quiet good. Not perfect, but still very good. Yes, there are a few things here and there that are quiet irritating like the linear career track and the gift system, but if you look at the collective picture, there is a lot of nice things. I think the sports mode is quiet nice and competitive, and part of any racing game is to deal with the idiots who push you off track. Some of you even in turn into them when in a fist of rage.
I think the biggest complaint has to do with grinding, which personally doesn't bother me. Nothing annoys me more than playing a game where everyone so easily maxes out on resources (Cars here). Nothing fun in being a lobby full of Bugatti Chirons and Mclaren F1s. I think that these cars are precious and rare indeed and the game should reflect that. Beside what message does this send to the new players if they can unlock things so easily without matching in skill? I say this while I am against the concept of microtransactions which I think ruins any game, and you can always not pay.....
Overall, I understand why people might find it annoying, especially if you are already a top player. Nonetheless, I think it mostly reflects the right concept for a game dedicated to motorsports above anything and that if you stop focusing on the negatives of it only, you might appreciate it more. Definitely didn't deserve that review bombing!
PS: how often do you see a 917K like that in a game?
I am about to purchase a PS5 just to play GT7. I dont want a PS4. I have always enjoyed GT games, but I saw the poor reviews for GT7. Is it better now? Is it worth it?
@BrennanR98 Actually, a lot of users here enjoy talking about their favorite cars, myself included. [expletive] off and stop spamming people in the replies.
Among recent announcements, the introduction of the Mclaren Senna GTR is by far the most exciting as I see it. The road version of the car outperformed track-oriented cars, so mind you the GTR? A vivid recollection of its legendary elder sibling that clinched the title in Le Mans in 95. Would be very cool to introduce to the game in upcoming updates.

In my opinion, a really nice to introduce WEC as a game mode. It would be very fun Even offline.
On a more general scope, introducing mechanical failures would give the game a huge push in simulating the authentic racing experience.
I think it is because Pagani develops track-oriented vehicles which are dedicated to breaking lap-time records. Don't think Koenigsegg does that.
