The 2010 Carl Edwards #99 Aflac FORD FUSION is a 2010 NASCAR race car produced by Ford. It appears in Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6.
In the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, Carl Edwards drove this car to a 4th place points finish, winning the season's final two races in the process.

Since his first full participation in 2004, Carl Edwards of the Ford works team Roush Fenway Racing, has grown to become their ace driver. Edwards, brought up by the president of the team Jack Roush, has grown significantly to meet their expectations.
In the 2005 season, he placed 3rd in the premier Nextel Cup just in his second year of entry. He was continually in the top group vying for the title every year afterwards, and in 2008 took away 9 victories, pressuring champion Jimmie Johnson until the very last race.
Though expectations were high for 2009, all of the Ford teams suffered in this year and he unfortunately ended the season with zero victories. Still he entered the "Chase for the Sprint Cup" for his 5th year in a row, proving himself as the ace Ford driver.
A part of the charm of Edwards is in his intense drive through the ranks in the latter parts of a race. Showing incredible speed when the car is right, he is also known for driving strategically and efficiently to save fuel, sweeping away the victory in this way on more than one occasion. He's also known for doing back flips after winning races, and his performance like these in and out of racing have gained him great popularity among fans. And of course there are many lady fans who are attracted by his good looks.
