The 2025 Gran Turismo World Series Round 1 was the first round of 2025 Gran Turismo World Series live events, which took place on June 7, 2025 at BBC Television Centre, London, United Kingdom. The event featured the first round of Nations Cup, featuring all qualified 12 drivers from all three regions, and Manufacturers Cup, featuring 12 drivers from the Asia-Oceania region.

The event was open to the general public, much like GTWS live events since 2023, with general ticket sales beginning on April 28.

In addition to previously available languages (English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese), the event livestreams will also be available with Chinese commentary for the first time. The Chinese stream is also streamed on Bilibili and Weibo for regional availability reasons. The Chinese stream coincided with an announcement of a collaboration between Xiaomi and Gran Turismo.

Manufacturers Cup[]

The Manufacturers Cup portion of the event opened the show. As for the regional nature of the event, the event was contested with drivers from the Asia-Oceania region.

Entry List[]

The Manufacturers Cup race consists of the top 12 manufacturers in the GT1 League's Global Manufacturer Rankings of the 2025 Online Series, with the partner manufacturers being granted "immunity" from failing to qualify. Each manufacturer is represented by one driver for each region, chosen from the best driver in the Asia-Oceania region in GT1 League of the online series.

Nations Cup[]

The Nations Cup portion of the event served as the main event of the show, with all twelve Nations Cup superstars present.

Entry List[]

The Nations Cup format remained the same as in 2024, with the exception of the podium-finishing competitors from the 2024 World Finals being automatically qualified for the 2025 live events.

Each region is capped to a set number of drivers that qualify through the online series:

  • Europe, Middle East, Africa: 4
  • North America: 1
  • Central/South Americas: 2
  • Asia: 1
  • Oceania: 1

These 9 drivers will then join the automatically-qualifying drivers (2 from EMEA, 1 from Asia) for a total of 12 participating drivers.
