AC Cars is a German based, British car manufacturer which features in the Gran Turismo series. They have so far appeared in Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6.

Background

AC Cars Ltd. is an car manufacturer located in Thames Ditton (UK) (1911–1984) which produced their first 4-wheeled car in 1913.

Today this manufacturer is famous for their legendary classic car AC Cobra, a high-motorized sports car, which was produced from 1962 to 1966 together with Carroll Shelby and supported by Ford.

AC Cars manufactured 17 different cars. One of these is the AC 427 S/C '66, which is currently the only AC-manufactured car featured in the Gran Turismo series.
