The 166 is Alfa Romeo's executive express. It is refined, stylish, spirited transportation for the executive driver, with emphasis on the driver. No chauffeur necessary. A front-drive chassis with independent double wishbone front, multilink rear suspension puts plenty of rubber on the road to ensure the expected Alfa level of handling for this luxury sedan. Engine choices include a 2.0-liter, 155 BHP 4-cylinder and 2.5-liter, 190 BHP and 3.0-liter, 226 BHP V6s.[1] Performance is impressive, no matter what powerplant is used. The four does 0-to-60 in 9.6 seconds, with a top speed of over 130 mph. The 3.0-liter V6 is good for 7.8 seconds to 60, and a top end of 150 mph. Classic looks and blistering performance make the 166 one of the most desired Alfa Romeos ever. It's luxury con brio in the way the Italians know best.
