In-game description[]
The Alfa Romeo 4C is the first mass production mid-engine sports car produced by Alfa Romeo that went on sale in 2013.
The major point to note in this car is its thorough pursuit of weight reduction and the resulting superior driving performance. The base structure is a carbon monocoque combined with an aluminum subframe. The extremely strong and lightweight monocoque, which only weighs 65 kg, is produced with pre-prep carbon fiber that involves a difficult and costly manufacturing process. Although the engine is the same turbocharged direct injection inline-4 cylinder 1,742 cc engine as the Giulietta, the cylinder block has been changed to aluminum, reducing its weight by an additional 22 kg. As a result, the dry weight of the Italian domestic model is extremely light, only weighing in at 895 kg in total.
The engine produces 236 BHP and a maximum torque of 35.7 kgfm, which is not incredibly impressive. However, its weight and combination with a 6-speed, dual clutch, 2-pedal transmission helps the car achieve a spectacular 0-100 km/h acceleration of 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 257 km/h.
With its characteristic mid-engine looks based on the historically famous Tipo 33/2 Stradale, this is a sports car that is fit to be called a small supercar.
In the 4C line-up, the launch of this model was commemorated with 1,000 limited edition cars. This car is equipped with special carbon headlight bezels, door mirrors and rear spoiler, as well as sports suspension and sports exhaust. As with the 4C, which was so popular its production could not meet the demand, the launch edition is said to have sold out almost immediately.
Brand Central (GT7)[]
The 4C was Alfa Romeo’s first mass-produced mid-engine sports car. A carbon-fiber monocoque helped keep the car’s curb weight in check, allowing it to tip the scales at a lean 1984 lbs. You’ll find the rigidity of its body resulted in exceptional handling prowess. Its design was inspired by the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 Stradale, which was once called “the most beautiful car in the world.”

Chris[]
The 4C is a car with plenty of charm... First and foremost, it’s impressively light, weighing in at a mere 895 kg! This is rather astounding when one considers the design trends of the 2010s. The use of an innovative carbon fiber body really paid off in this respect. Although powered by a mere 1.8L turbo, its overall lightness hurtles it to supercar-level speeds. Moreover, its midship sports car design is truly a sight to behold. It even pays homage to Alfa Romeo’s historic Tipo 33 Stradale.

Trivia[]
- In Sport, in the Tokyo Expressway Central Loop layouts, it can be seen as a billboard on one of the buildings, along with both Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 '13 and Subaru WRX STI Type S '14 as well.
- Said billboard was replaced by a generic Gran Turismo 7 advertisement in GT7.
