Trivia[]

  • Starting from the race at Road Atlanta, an AI opponent intended for the Race of Turbo Sportscars driving a Ford Sierra is unintentionally set as a guaranteed opponent. The mistake was likely made because the driver (N. Anderson) shares the name with one of the opponents in this event that drives one of the Pontiac Trans Ams.
  • The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is eligible to compete despite the fact that these cars were never sold or manufactured in the American market and were instead made and sold in the European market. Additionally, no car manufacturer in the US has ever built any right-hand drive cars at all (the only car with such a trait is the Ford GT40 '66, but it is still an American vehicle whilst the Sierra Cosworth is not).
