Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle company, one of the brands owned by Piaggio. Having started as a manufacturer of bicycles it moved on to manufacture scooters and small-capacity motorcycles. In more recent times Aprilia has produced large sportbikes such as the 1,000 cc V-twin RSV Mille and the V4 RSV4. Aprilia has enjoyed considerable success in road-racing.
This Italian motorcycle manufacturer has so far only appeared in Tourist Trophy.

Aprilia in Motorsports[]
Motorcycles manufactured by Aprilia have been largely successful in racing series such as the Grand Prix and Superbike World Championships. Active from 1992-2011 and recently from 2015, Aprilia motorcycle riders have won the Rider's Championship 19 times, and the Manufacturer's Championship 19 times.
