Pre-race dialogue[]
| Race | Driver | Quote | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tokyo Expressway - South Counterclockwise | A. Suswillo | "You can't go wrong with a custom wing! I got my Z car tuned at the Japanese tuner, Amuse. Pretty sweet, don't you think? When you're fitting racing tyres to a retail car, it's important to adjust the suspension accordingly. If the natural frequency is 3Hz or higher, the the tyres will start to lose their grip. Make the front suspension stiff, and the rear suspension a little softer. That's the general idea." | |
| T. Yamanka | "The way this Supra combines the roar of a straight-six, high rigidity and quick handling, it'll have you smiling all the way to the finish line! This track has some high-speed sections, so I suggest fitting a custom wing. The wing will create downforce, which'll help keep the car stable. The Tokyo Expressway was built on the site of an old river. Did you know that?" | ||
| R. Kokubun | "I used to watch car racing for hours on end. Even after the races were over, I'd watch the replays over and over again. Watching other drivers' replays is a good way of improving your own driving." | ||
| Fuji International Speedway | T. Miyazono | "Mikail Hizal and I are perhaps the two major Subaru fans racing in this competition. He's a driver I really respect." | |
| V. Gallo | "I just got back from having my car tuned! I first learned about tuning from movies and anime! There's nothing quite like driving a car you've customised just the way you like it. It's so much fun!" | ||
| I. Fraga | "The Fuji Speedway is used for the International B License tests, for which I'm the instructor. Have you tried it? The Lexus RC F you drive in the test is actually my car - it's fun to drive, isn't it?" | Igor Fraga does not appear as an opponent in this championship. | |
| Mount Panorama | "After this race, I intend to return to Brazil for a bit." | ||
| M. Hizal | "Japan's Takuma Miyazono and I are maybe the two biggest Subaru fans in this competition. I hope to one day race as his teammate!" | ||
| M. Simmons | "I'm originally from Melbourne, Australia. It's an exciting city - very multicultural! I love it... Even if the winters are bloody freezing! Mount Panorama is an Australian track, and we're all very proud of it. Kangaroos have been known to hop onto the track from time to time, so be sure to keep an eye out!" |
Prize Cars[]
The player can win one of these following cars when finishing the championship in top three for the first time (during Menu Book 21):
Trivia[]
- Despite the Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera's ineligibility for the event due to the event being restricted to Road Cars only instead also allowing the 'Professionally Tuned' car type, which is what that car is classified as in-game, Adam Suswillo's AI drove one during the event meaning that his presence broke the rule. This oversight was not fixed in any of the updates.
- A similar issue also occurs to Rayan Derrouiche's Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO GT-APEX (AE86 Shuichi Shigeno Version) '00 in the Japanese Clubman Cup 550 events, since that car is also classified in-game as a 'Professionally Tuned' car; which would not be allowed until update 1.44.
- Despite Igor Fraga having no presence in this series as a driver, he shows up at the second race at Fuji as an interactable driver before the race. This could suggest that he was originally intended to be in this series but was later removed.
- Fraga drives a similar Supra RZ to H. Anderson in the Race of Turbo Sportscars and World Touring Car 600 series. He also drives this exact Supra RZ in the Tokyo Expressway - East Outer Loop race of the WTC 600, suggesting that he possibly was originally meant to drive this car in this championship.
- In early versions of the game, some opponents that were exclusive to this event had silver rims. These later changed to either black or white versions of the same rim style in an unknown update, though the reason why is not clear.
