- The livery of this car is based on the Audi R8R, a Le Mans Prototype race car originally entered by Audi at the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans.
- The Audi TT 1.8T Quattro's racing modifications resemble this car. The only major differences are a different rear wing and different color choices, with this car being available only in silver, the same color as the Audi R8R.
