- "The drift machine that brought Blitz its first D1 victory."
- ―In-game catch text for the car, from GT6's Dealership
The BLITZ DUNLOP ER34 SKYLINE '07 is a tuned car produced by Blitz. It appears in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (as part of the Spec II update), Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6.
Description[]
The "Blitz Dunlop ER34" was one of the leading machines in the D1 Grand Prix (Japan's professional drift series), but when the car first made its appearance in D1 (which began in 2001), it conspicuously stood out. While most of the competing machines were two-doors at the time, Blitz came to the party with a machine "that no one else would choose and would surprise everyone": a 4-door Skyline ER34 sedan.
The driving duties were left to Ken Nomura, affectionately nicknamed "Nomuken" in Japan. Known for his dramatic drifting style that produced huge clouds of tire smoke, he was a fan favorite and is known in the drifting community as "Hakuen Bancho" (White Smoke Gang Leader).
Initially the heavy body of the Skyline showed its disadvantage, but Blitz continued to improve the car, including increasing the displacement of the RB25DET engine to 2.8 liters. And in its fourth year of competition, the Skyline scored its maiden victory.
In 2007, a K27 3470MOJ turbine was fitted to the engine, boosting its horsepower up to 571 HP and torque to an asphalt-crunching 501.8 ft-lb. A Hollinger sequential-shift transmission was also added for good measure. The chassis received reinforcement via a custom roll cage and numerous new spot welds. Other components, including the trunk, door panels and dashboard, were replaced with carbon-fiber ones to reduce weight.
This car was so potent that it had an effect on the resale value of all used ER34 Skyline 4-doors, increasing its popularity among the masses.

- In GT5P, only the outer taillights on this car turn on when braking. This was fixed in GT5, where all four taillights turn on when braking.
