Blue Moon Bay Speedway is a fictional circuit that first appeared in Gran Turismo Sport. It is a 2 mile triangular race track set in Half Moon Bay, California (from which the track likely got its name), on the west coast of the United States.
It could have been based on the Pocono Raceway, also in America, one of the main venues on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule. However, this track is more banked than its real life counterpart and a half-mile longer in length.

Layout[]
The circuit is essentially an oval track, featuring 3 turns having different radii and bank angles. Each one requires a different approach to complete safely and quickly.
Turn 1 is the tightest out of the 3. Make sure to brake enough so that you do not hit the wall. After turning in, gradually let off the brakes and get on the inside. Once you are past the apex, exit at full throttle.
Turn 2 is loose enough that you can clear it flat out, moving your line the left most position with the blue surface on the left serving as your guide. Get on the outside of the track just before the 200m marker board.
For turn 3, turn in using the 100m marker board as your cue. Head towards the inside while you brake, and use the blue surface on the left as your guide to go flat out on the exit.
In some cars, such as lower N class cars, you can take all corners at full throttle if your speed is low enough and has sufficient cornering.

Trivia[]
- Unusually for an oval course, it has a playable reverse layout.
- In real life there was an Australian variant of NASCAR, the AUSCAR that raced on reversed oval tracks. The series ran from 1988 to 1999.
- In online lobbies, the circuit's back straight is frequently used for 1/4 mile drag racing. This is because the distance between the two overhead bridges on the back straight is approximately 0.25 miles (0.4 km).
