For the Gr.X version of the car, see Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo.

"A dream machine made to be the pinnacle of race cars and a true Bugatti."
―In-game catch text for the car, from GT7's car collection

The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Gr.1 is a race car produced by Bugatti. It appears in Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7.

This car is an alternate version of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, being adapted to fit the Gr.1 class, where cars with performance similar to that of LMP1 cars are competing. Compared to the original car, power and weight were greatly decreased in order to balance the car with the other cars in the Gr.1 category. It still retains the quad-turbo W16 engine as the original car.

Colors[]

Eight colors are available for this car:

  • Yellow paint / Black carbon
  • Red carbon / Black carbon

Description[]

"This Gran Turismo original is a Gr.1 race car based on the Bugatti VGT. With around 591.7 HP of power on tap, which is maybe low for a Bugatti, this thing still accelerates like the devil."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central

The car shares the same description as the base Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, stating at the bottom that it has been tuned for Gr.1 regulations by Gran Turismo.

Trivia[]

  • The Gr.1 version of the car can be distinguished from its original variant, by having a black Gran Turismo windshield banner and a slightly different rear wing. This makes it less confusing for players to receive this car from a Daily Workout and/or a GT Sport Circuit Experience prize, unlike the Hyundai and the McLaren, which have no visual differences from their regular counterparts.
  • Despite the reduced performance, the car had a higher PP rating in GT7, possibly due to the significant weight reductions and higher-grip tires.
    • However, from version 1.31, the car has a lower rating.
