In-game description[]

"The ZL1 1LE is an FR sports car that boasts some of the best specs in the world of motoring. It's based on the sixth generation Camaro SS. The 1LE package is specifically aimed at those looking to take their Camaro out on the track. Key features include a special lightweight construction and a custom suspension setup. This model has achieved a Nürburgring Nordschleife best time of 7:16.04 seconds."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central

The 6th generation Chevrolet Camaro further modernized the 5th generation design which gathered praise for its retro-modern styling, while dropping approximately 100 kg of weight for higher sports performance.

The most powerful model in the lineup is the ZL1. Equipped with the 'LT4' 6.2L Supercharged[1] V8 from the Corvette Z06, it produces 649 BHP and 89.8 kgfm torque, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 318 km/h.

Chevrolet has also provided a '1LE' performance package starting from the 3rd generation models forward, adding further to the performance of the Camaro. For the 2018 model, announced in 2017, this package included a large deflector, rear wing, diffuser, dedicated suspension and specially developed tyres. The Camaro ZL1[2] with this package marked 7 minutes 16.04 seconds on the German Nürburgring, greatly surpassing the performance of your average supercar.

Café Conversations (GT7)[]

Chris[]

This sixth-generation ZL1 may be the most valuable Camaro of all time. Taking its engine from the Corvette Z06, the ZL1 is capable of an output of over 641 BHP. What's more, this '1LE Package' has been outfitted for track performance needs. Incredibly, it completed a lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:16:04! That's a super-car-level time, mind you! And yet it's about 1/3 the price of your average super car, meaning it offers more bang for your buck!

Ed Welburn[]

Everything about the[3] Camaro ZL1 says speed and power. It's practically a weapon on wheels. From its overall stance to its many functional splitters, wings, and air intakes, this car is track ready! And the ZL1 Camaro has a wider track than other Camaros. Its dark hood, grille, headlamps, and full-width splitter give this car a wide, sinister appearance. In two-tone colouring, it's all business. Period!
