In-game description[]

"One of the last of the C7 Corvettes and also the most powerful."

The ZR1 is the ultimate-performance version of the Chevrolet Corvette. The seventh-generation C7 Corvettes already had an impressive lineup that included the sporty Z51 and the powerful Z06, but in 2018, as the generation neared its end, the mightiest C7 of all was released in the form of the ZR1.

The ZR1 featured a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 called the LT5. It was similar in construction to the 649.9 HP LT4 engine in the 206, but a larger supercharger and the addition of GM's first dual-injection system allowed it to pump out an impressive 754.4 HP and 714.6 ft-lb of torque, which represented a 10-percent increase in output.

The car's aerodynamic parts were developed in conjunction with Pratt & Miller Engineering, known for building racing Corvettes for GT competition. Every component of the car was designed for performance. For example, two different rear wings were developed for the ZR1, one for maximum speed and the other for the fast lap times. When the car was optimized for maximum speed, it was capable of reaching 345.8 km/h.

Brand Central (GT7)[]

The ZR1 is the top of the C7 Corvette range, and an all-time achievement in FR Corvette construction. It features a huge supercharged 6.2L V8 engine. And that engine provides a ton of power: over 739.6 BHP, in fact, along with 98.8 kgfm of torque. It also comes with custom front and rear bumpers, and a large rear spoiler. The chassis is Chevrolet's finest achievement to date, and is aerodynamically balanced to perfection.

Cafรฉ (GT7)[]

Ed Welburn[]

The C7 ZR1 Corvette is the ultimate expression of a front-engine Corvette's power and bold design. The ZR1 is sometimes known as 'The Widebody'. It's significantly wider than a standard Corvette Stingray in order to accommodate its massive tyres. The ZR1 has very significant air intakes and air exits. These manage the flow of air and feed the many coolers in the nose and tail of the car. Most people love the rear wing. But I prefer the smaller rear spoiler that was also available.
