- "An electric hypercar that offered a glimpse into the future of the Corvette."
- ―In-game catch text for the car, from GT7's car collection
The Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept '25 is a concept car made by Chevrolet. It first appeared in Gran Turismo 7 as part of Update 1.62.
Description[]
- "The Chevrolet Corvette has long stood as a symbol of American sports-car heritage. And leading into the future was the CX Concept—an all-electric hypercar that pushed the boundaries of innovation. Its Coke-bottle shape and gracefully sloped roofline immediately brought to mind the classic Corvettes of years past. It was born from aerodynamic efficiency, delivering exceptional performance on both road and track. The most impressive feature was a fan-powered downforce system that maintained perfect aerodynamic balance at all speeds. Power came from an electrified car setup, with four electric motors producing 2,000 hp, distributing it to all four wheels. Bold and imposing, the CX Concept carried the Corvette spirit into a new era!"
- ―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central
The Corvette CX Concept remained unmistakably a Corvette to its core. Engineered for both street and circuit, the Corvette CX Concept represented a futuristic vision of an electrified Corvette hypercar.
From its athletic proportions and aggressive, lunging profile to the cockpit tucked between muscular haunches, every line and surface served a purpose. The design was clean yet purposeful, with refined surfaces flowing seamlessly into a visible structural framework, while the interior prioritized lightness and driver-focused functionality.
The CX Concept featured active aerodynamics, with movable front and rear elements and a finely sculpted underbody, which delivered efficiency on the open road and the race track. A fan-based downforce system with thrust vectoring enabled precise aerodynamic balance between the front and rear. As an all-wheel-drive machine, the CX Concept housed four e-motors integrated into the RESS understructure, delivering more than 2,000 horsepower.

Trivia[]
- Contrary to popular belief, this is not a Vision Gran Turismo car, but rather an unrelated concept presented by Chevrolet at the 2025 edition of The Quail Motorsports Gathering. The confusion stems from both CX and CX.R being revealed simultaneously, and announced for inclusion in GT7 at the same time.
- This is currently the second most powerful car in the entire series, the most powerful EV and the most powerful non-VGT car.
- This is one of three cars in the entire series with over 2,000 horsepower, the others being the CX.R and the Dodge SRT Tomahawk X Vision Gran Turismo.
