The Circuit Experience mode in Gran Turismo Sport is accessible under Campaign menu in the game's main screen. Each featured track (whose maps are drawn to the same scale) has a series of dots appearing next to them, indicating awards won for each track's section. Each award can be received by meeting the required lap times in each section. Completing every challenge of a track unlocks a map decal in the Livery Editor (plain line for all-bronze, multiple lines for all-silver) as well as a random prize car for getting all-gold on a track. Due to continuously updating nature of the game back when its online services were still operational, there are no prizes for completing all Circuit Experience challenges, except for the Globetrotter (for all-bronze) and Tactical King (for all-gold) trophies.
For newly added tracks, the track's Circuit Experience is typically added on the content update following the track's addition. This pattern was broken by the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca's Circuit Experience, which was added immediately following the track's inclusion; coincidentally, it ended up being the last track added to the game (as of January 2021).
List of Challenges[]
The only circuit location without a Circuit Experience is Special Stage Route X, likely due to it being a simple high-speed oval.
For number of sections, the number includes the final 1 Lap Attack challenge.
Circuit Experience in GT7 remains mainly unchanged from GT Sport's iteration, but are now accessed in each circuit's World Circuits menu (meaning the player must have unlocked the access to the track they want to play the mode for) and all car types are now used, including road cars. Completing a track's Circuit Experience originally did not give the player any prizes, other than credits for each segment, however in version 1.11 credits for finishing a whole track were added, followed by bonuses for Quick/Custom Races in version 1.40. The general difficulty was also increased compared to GT Sport's iteration.
Starting from update 1.40, Circuit Experience progress will contribute to the maximum prize pool threshold for Quick Race events, along with the player's Car Collector Level.
Completing Dragon Trail - Gardens's One Lap Attack (using a Peugeot RCZ Gr.4) is required to complete GT Café Menu Book 24.
