Course License is a game mode in Gran Turismo Concept. Similarly to the S-License tests in the mainline games, the player has to complete a lap of the track with a provided vehicle within a certain time limit. Gold, silver and bronze prizes are awarded depending on how fast the player completes the lap.

Unlike the actual S-License tests, players have the possibility to have a Pace Car as a guide for ideal trajectory lines or braking points. Also, crashing into walls or other objects, as well as going off-track and overtaking the Pace Car will not result in the test's failure.

Completing a test with at least bronze will unlock the track used in that test for use in Single Race mode, as well as a new car. An additional car is unlocked if the player completes a test with a gold medal.

The pod Race mode, located in the Game Status screen, will be unlocked upon completing all Course License tests.
