DS AUTOMOBILES is a French luxury marque, initially debuted as a sub-marque of Citroën to signify their luxury models before being spun off as an independent marque in 2014. DS stands for Different Spirit or Distinctive Series, as well as a reference to Citroën DS, Citroën successful executive car. The brand first appears in Gran Turismo 7.
