Trivia[]
- Daihatsu, along with Suzuki, participated at the Manufacturer's Exhibition race at the 2019 Gran Turismo World Tour in Tokyo (coinciding with the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show) using the Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo Gr.3. Daihatsu was also part of the Manufacturer's Exhibition race at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, using the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept '18. Unlike Suzuki, Daihatsu has yet to enter the Manufacturer's Cup, due to a lack of a suitable vehicle.
- This arrangement also reflects Toyota's ownership of Daihatsu. Another product of their synergy is the second-generation Copen GR Sport being sold from both Toyota and Daihatsu dealers in real life with a neutral manufacturer badge.
