This page is about hidden content found in a Gran Turismo game's resources. This includes unfinished versions of cars and tracks that made it into the final game as well as scrapped content left in the game's files. We have gathered as much information about it as can be found online. Please note that we do not recommend attempting to modify the game to access this content as doing so can make the game unstable and may corrupt your save. Editors: Please ensure the content has been verified against the relevant The Cutting Room Floor page. Unverified information about hidden content may be removed. |
Demo_UpDown is a hidden track found in Gran Turismo Concept. It is a dirt course, surprisingly using a nearly identical layout to Tsukuba Circuit, with many large jumps. This track was most likely intended to test the handling model of the rally cars, as well as testing vehicle's response to elevation changes such as the jumps found in Seattle Circuit. There is no detail here aside from a low-texture forest scene bordering the entire track and a reasonably well drawn dirt road surface with grass edges. There are also many trees around the perimeter of the course.
This track can only be found in Gran Turismo Concept, however it is not accessible without a cheat device.
Bugs and Glitches[]
- AI cannot be loaded on this course, or the game will crash.
- The ghost opponent, oddly, will follow this track without issue, meaning there is a pathfinding code defined for this track. It may have been scrapped very close to completion.
