"This ultra high performance Charger set a world speed record, going 222 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats."
―In-game catch text for the car, from GT7's car collection

The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Safety Car is the safety car variant of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat '15. It appears in Gran Turismo Sport (as part of Update 1.53) and Gran Turismo 7.

In-Game Description[]

"This safety car is a Gran Turismo exclusive based on the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. It features a light bar on the roof, and spotlight-equipped wing mirrors. It's also equipped with other specialist equipment, such as bull bars. The Charger is actually used as a patrol car by some US police departments."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central

The car shares the same description as the base Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat '15.

Trivia[]

  • Unusually for a safety/pace car, it features a bull bar and a pair of mirror-mounted lights, reminiscent of American police cars.
    • The Toyota Crown Athlete G Safety Car also features some design aspects from Japanese police cars, except the light bars are blue by default.
    • In GT7, it is possible to remove the bull bars from GT Auto; however, doing this will also remove the front SRT badge.
  • Before the release of the update that included this car, it, along with the other then-new safety cars, was labeled as an N700-class car. This has since been fixed to Gr.X in-game.

Notes[]

  1. Due to Mileage Exchange being discontinued as part of the end of Gran Turismo Sport's online services, this car is no longer obtainable legitimately.
