The Dodge STP Taisan Viper GT (JGTC) '99 is a race car produced by Dodge. It only appears in Gran Turismo 2.
The car appears to be the #55, driven by Eiichi Tajima and Hideshi Matsuda, who achieved a 23rd place finish in the 1999 JGTC season.

Trivia[]
- This is so far the only American-based JGTC car to appear in the Gran Turismo series.
- The internal name for the car is "d2tvr"; it is the only car from one of the four original foreign manufacturers (Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Dodge and TVR) whose second character in the internal name is "2", to signify new additions to their existing line-up. Curiously, all internal names for new-to-the-game Japanese manufacturers (Daihatsu, Tommy Kaira, and Suzuki) all contain "2" in each car's second character of internal names.
- This might be due to the fact the car competes in a Japanese racing environment.
