Driving Challenges is a game mode in Gran Turismo for the PlayStation Portable. A combination of license tests from the mainline games and Driving Missions from Gran Turismo 4, these tests require the player to meet certain conditions within a set time to progress and earn credits.

The challenges are divided into 17 blocks/sections, ten of which are main routes and seven are detour routes. There are six challenges per block. Completing the B or C block is required to unlock the ability to use custom music from the player's Memory Stick Duo (placed in the MUSIC folder of the Memory Stick Duo), while completing either H or I section unlocks the ending credits, which featured a teaser for the then in-development Gran Turismo 5, as well as the second part of challenges (block J and beyond). Otherwise, there are no prize cars for completing an entire block.
The challenge blocks below are listed in the unlocking order. Detour routes can be used in favor of main routes for the first of the challenges (for instance completing the C block first before the B block unlocks the D block), while block L is the only second part block that can be used in the second part to skip a main route. Note that the Q block requires block P to also be unlocked.
Jay Leno provides voice acting for voiced guides in the North American version of the game, while Houko Kawashima provided the Japanese language voice guides.
