The European FR Challenge 550 is a 5 race event that appears in Gran Turismo 7. The races are located at the World Circuits menu and the tracks are unlocked by progressing through the GT Café. However, there are multiple variations of the FR Challenge events, which focus on cars from specific countries including American FR Challenge and Japanese FR Challenge.

  • Despite the event being eligible for any European FR vehicle, in early versions of the game all of the vehicles that could appear as opponents were BMW models. This was changed in update v1.40 when the 190E was added and then later again in v1.56 for the race at Lago Maggiore.
  • In earlier builds of the game, the BMW 3.0 CSL's used to be modified with aero parts and tuning upgrades. However, as this was causing their vehicle behavior to become uncontrollable, they were removed and the vehicles were reverted to stock condition.
