Strategy[]

The opponents, as per the rules, drive various Lancer Evolution road car models. Since there are no PP or tuning restrictions for the events, the player can heavily modify their own Lancer Evolution road cars, most prominently Racing: Soft tires, to give them a big performance advantage.

One infamous example, starting from the v1.54 update, is the Lancer Evolution VIII that can be installed with an engine swap from the Subaru BRZ Drift Car '17, which can provide nearly double the horsepower of what the Evo 8's original engine can provide (1037 HP vs 540 HP). This will allow the Evo 8 to sweep the events with little trouble, and is highly recommended for anyone looking to secure an easy win, especially since the swap only costs Cr. 300,000 - not too far out from the credits needed to fully upgrade the Evo 8's original engine.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being a Lancer Evolution model, the player cannot use the Gr.B Road Car here.
  • All opponents use Sports: Soft tires for the road races.
