Gran Turismo Wiki

The F094/H is a race car produced by Polyphony Digital. It only appeared in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec.

It is based on the Williams FW16B driven by championship runner-up Damon Hill (with teammates David Coulthard and Nigel Mansell) during the second half of the 1994 Formula One World Championship, starting from the German Grand Prix. The F094/H is one of six F1 cars in the NTSC versions of the game, possessing near-identical stats to the F094/S with slightly lower chassis grip, making it a well-balanced option for most tracks.

Trivia[]

  • Internally, the car is named "williams_fw16b", alluding to the base car.
  • The Dark Blue color was incorrectly given a Dark Green thumbnail when this car is viewed in the garage.
  • As the F1 cars have the highest drag coefficients of all cars in the game, the F094/H is unsuitable for Test Course races such as Like the Wind, as wind resistance greatly limits its acceleration beyond 200mph. The opponents in these events often have top speeds of 235+ mph, making it near-impossible to catch up without slipstreaming.
  • Like all F1 cars in GT3, it is equipped with a special “F1” compound. This compound provides the best grip of all tyre types in the game, far exceeding that of super softs, with the caveat of having the same wear rate. The compound cannot be changed, appearing as “Medium” in-game.
