The Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 '13 is a race car produced by Ferrari. It first appears in Gran Turismo Sport.

In-game description

The Ferrari 458 Italia continues the line of Ferrari's V8 series, following in the footsteps of cars like the 360 Modena and F430. However, this car was designed completely from scratch. You can see how much passion they invested in the car from the car's name, christened by Ferrari's chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo after their mother country.

The main components of the chassis, body, engine and suspension are made of aluminium as in the 360 and 430, but the torsional rigidity of the car has, in comparison to the 430, been improved by 15%. The body incorporates winglets inside the front grille and fender 'chimney' outlets, achieving aerodynamic performance that is generations ahead of their previous production cars. As a result, the car produces 140 kg of downforce at 200 km/h and over 360 kg of downforce at its top speed range.

Mounted mid-ship is a 4.5 litre, naturally aspirated V8 engine producing 562 BHP and 55.1 kgfm. Combined with a dual clutch and 7 speed paddle-shift transmission, the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h.

The racing car that was developed based on this car is the 458 Italia GT3.

The front bumper has a low air dam feature and there is a large wing in the rear. Its appearance has been transformed for battle on the circuit, with greatly enlarged front and rear fenders. The engine is basically the same as the production car but power is restricted to 542 BHP.

The car had its debut in 2011 and it immediately won the series title that year in the FIA-GT3 European Championships.
