Description[]
- "Are you familiar with Ferrari's XX Programs? It's[1] where Ferrari asks its car owners to test drive its various models to help develop new technologies. The FXX-K was developed from this unique program. The car was developed for track use and came equipped with a 986.1 HP-plus hybrid propulsion unit. Testing from the XX Programs provided valuable data that also helped the company's race car development."
- ―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central
Only 32 examples of the Ferrari FXX K were produced, meaning that it became an instant collector's item when it was introduced in 2014. Developed for track use only by Corso Clienti, the FXX K was based on the LaFerrari super car with various improvements.[2]
The "K" on its name stood for "HY-KERS," Ferrari's Hybrid Kinetic Energy Recovery system, similar to the KERS systems used on Ferrari's Formula 1 cars. Under the FXX K's hood was LaFerrari's[3] 6.3-liter V-12 tuned to produce 848.1 HP combined with a 187.3 HP HY-KERS electric motor, totaling an output of 1035.4 HP.
In 2017, Ferrari introduced the FXX K Evo, whose aerodynamics enhancements resulted in 23 percent more downforce than the standard FXX K and 75 percent more than the LaFerrari[4]. It generated up to 640 kilograms (1,400 lb) of additional weight at 200 km/h, making it one of the most potent supercars ever created by the company.

Trivia[]
- Similar to the Ferrari FXX '07 in GT6 and the Aston Martin Vulcan '16 in both GT Sport and GT7, it is labelled as a road car in-game, even if in reality it is non-street legal.
- Despite this, the car has Racing: Hard tires by default.
- In the Livery Editor, the rear wing layer also includes parts of the front spoiler, in addition to the rear wings.
