The Ford GT Race Car '18 is a race car produced by Ford. It first appears in Gran Turismo 7.
The version that appears in the game is the #67 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing car as used in the 2018 24 Hours of Daytona, driven by Ryan Briscoe, Richard Westbrook and Scott Dixon (only for that race). The #67 scored three wins that season, including the 24 Hours of Daytona, finishing second in the GTLM driver and team standings.

Description[]
"This race car claimed numerous World Endurance Championship titles."
The second-generation Ford GT, introduced in 2015, came equipped with compact twin-turbo V-6 that allowed the car to spring to 60 mph in about 3.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 348 km/h, making it a legitimate super car and a worthy successor to the classic GT40 of yesteryear.
Like the GT40, the GT shined on the race track. Under the Chip Ganassi Racing and Ford factory team banner, it scored several victories in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) that included the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as winning in IMSA, taking three race wins in 2016, two in 2017, five in 2018 and three in 2019. In 2018, after winning the 24 Hours of Daytona, the GT's strong performance that season handed Ford the manufacturers title in the GT-LM class.

Trivia[]
- Due to alcohol advertising regulations, the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup logo on the car's number box is blanked out. (The North American Endurance Cup switched sponsorship to Michelin in 2019.)
- The car's digital position number does not function in-game. It can be removed at GT Auto.
- If the car's default livery is removed, the car's default livery pattern will be retained until a custom paint color is applied. The same behavior also applies to the Nissan GT-R GT500 '99, the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 '84, the McLaren MP4/4 '88, the Volkswagen ID. R '19, and the Honda NSX GT500 '00.
- Unlike most cars where the Body 2 layer refers to the car's hood, the Body 2 layer on this car refers to parts of the rear end of the car.
