The Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback '15 is a top of the line variant of the 6th generation Ford Mustang produced by Ford. It appears in Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7, replacing the Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupe Premium '07 that appeared in PS3 era games.

The Ford Mustang transformed into its 6th generation model in 2014, on the 50th anniversary since its first debut. Although the car had only been sold in the US and some limited countries in the past, it was now to be sold in 120 markets around the world.
In preparation for this expansion, significant effort had been made on the model change. The greatly altered styling of the car was more aggressive than any other model to-date, but its prominent front grille and headlights as well as the strong linear design carries over the identity of the lineage, making it so anyone could immediately identify it as a Mustang.
There were significant changes in the engineering for the car as well. The old fashioned rigid axle was finally done away with in this model and the car was given independent suspension on all 4 wheels.
In terms of the engine line-up, the inline 4 cylinder that existed in the 2nd and 3rd generation models made a comeback. Although this is a down-sized, direct injection engine out of consideration for the environment, it is still a 2.3 litre turbo that produces 309 BHP / 32.6 kgfm and was welcomed worldwide.
However, for fans of the series the star of the show is of course the Mustang GT equipped with the signature V8. The 5 litre V8 produces 434 BHP / 40.8 kgfm, giving solid power from low to high speed ranges, but the top of the line V8 model is the Mustang GT Premium. This is a luxurious model equipped with extras such as a voice recognition car navigation system and Recaro leather seats.

It boasts a proud lineage without relying too heavily on overtly retro elements. Without a doubt, the star of its engine lineup is the V8 mounted in this GT. For a car with plenty of muscle, its price is really quite reasonable.

The goal of J Mays and his team... Was to make this car more of a European sports car while not losing its American pony-car heritage. This was truly a tough assignment! The resulting car is a quintessential Mustang... That looked like it went to finishing school in Europe. The new side DLO with rear quarter window was initially controversial... In that the previous Mustangs had a B-pillar separating a scoop, window, or a clean panel. The new DLO makes the Mustang visually more sophisticated and gives better visibility. The front-end is aggressive, with its thin, angled eyes and hungry mouth! The rear-end takes the 3-bar iconic taillights to a new level... And has a sequential blinker inspired by the '67/'68 Shelby. The stance is near-perfect, especially with optional big wheels spaced-out to the edges!
