Trivia[]
- A GT4-spec Ford Mustang does exist in real life; announced by Ford at the 2016 SEMA Show and began competition the following year. However, Gran Turismo Sport (where the car first appeared) was still in development at this point.
- The real life Mustang GT4 is based on the Ford Shelby GT350R '16, however.
- The orange/blue stripes livery resembles the Mustang SVT Cobra's used by the Bob Bondurant Racing School, of which the Ford Mustang SVT Cobra '98's racing modification in Gran Turismo 2 is based upon. The white/blue stripes livery is based on the Shelby white/blue scheme.
- The car uses Enkei PF01 rims.
- This is one of the only six Gr.4 cars to contain at least one fictional sponsor on the default livery, the others being the Aston Martin Vantage Gr.4, Honda NSX Gr.4, Lexus RC F Gr.4, Mazda Atenza Gr.4 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition Gr.4.
Notes[]
- ↑ As GT Sport's servers has been shut down on January 31, 2024, and as the last Manufacturer Series race in GT Sport was held on December 25, 2021, it is no longer possible to obtain the car this way.
