In-game description[]

"In 2015, Hyundai established "Genesis" as its premium brand. The G70 represented the third model produced for the brand since its inception. It also served as its entry-level sedan. Since making its debut in 2017, the G70 was widely praised for its styling. In 2020, Genesis designers overhauled the exterior by adding an extra layer of refinement to the car's striking appearance. This 3.3T was the highest trim level in the G70 lineup. It came powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6 that produced 364.8 HP."

Car Index (GT7)[]

The G70 is a sports sedan developed as part of Hyundai's high-performance Genesis brand. A standard D-segment vehicle, it was released in 2017 and intended as an entry-level model.

Despite sharing sharing most of its features, including the platform with the KIA Stinger (KIA are also part of the Hyundai group), the G70 was designed from the ground up as a luxury sedan.

Three engines were made available for the G70: a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6, a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline turbo, and a 2.2-liter diesel turbo. The twin-turbo V-6 was capable of 364.8 HP. Like the other cars in the Genesis lineup, rear-wheel drive and AWD versions of the G70 were offered.

The G70's styling was an instant hit, widely praised for its elegant outline. In 2020, however, the car underwent a major redesign, intended to make it more similar to the luxurious G90 and G80. As a result, the G70 looked more polished and even more striking.

In 2021, a shooting brake model, based on the sedan was produced for the European market. Its stunning style made it an instant hit.
