Music Rally is a game mode featured in Gran Turismo 7. It is a minigame where players are tasked to drive (most of the time a classic/vintage car) while listening to a particular song, avoiding running out of beats by passing checkpoints. Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes are awarded depending on the distance driven when the song ends.

This game mode is automatically launched upon starting the game for the first time, with the players being required to play the first Music Rally before proceeding with the game's intro, and then accessing the world map. Due to the nature of this game mode, no in-game credits are awarded to the player. Also, distance driven in this game mode does not count towards a player's Driving Marathon distance.

There was a "More to Come" icon placed on the next to the then-final stage which suggests the additional Music Rallies were planned to be included. However, after the additional stages came in version 1.35, the icon was removed.

Music Rally can still be played when the player is not connected to the server (i.e. during a server maintenance), however scores will not be saved or uploaded in that case.
