The game files for Gran Turismo Sport include many leftovers from previous releases, as well as several cars that were cut and/or unfinished during the development cycle.
Unless otherwise noted, all content on this page are derived from this The Cutting Room Floor page. In addition, attempting to access the following content in the game via modifications or cheat devices may cause the game to crash and hard-lock the system.
Unused Cars[]
The following cars were cut from the game, either due to licensing, being cut during development, or other reasons, and only their entries remain in the database files.
- Lotus Elise '11 (playable in a Geneva Motor Show build)
- Lotus Evora '09 (playable in the Closed Beta)
- Nissan GT-R Pure Edition '15
- Volkswagen Golf VII GTI Gr.B Rally Car (likely based on the Volkswagen GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo)
- Peugeot 208 GTi '14 (replaced with the Peugeot Sport variant)
The following alternate versions of existing cars were also cut:
- Mazda Roadster S N200 (used in the game's launch event)
- Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Gr.3
- Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track N300
- Lexus RC F N500
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition N300
- Peugeot 208 GTi N200
Additionally, the following Gr.3 cars, that were shown during the 2016 Copper Box event, also have scrapped variants designed for oval tracks, indicated with an (S) suffix on them and "_oval" suffix on their internal names, which were instead replaced by oval-specific Balance of Performance ratings for every class:

Race Start Themes[]
The race start theme from Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec can be found in the game's files, intended for use in GT League events that has standing starts (all GT League events feature rolling starts).
