Gran Turismo 7 (commonly abbreviated as GT7) is a racing video game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is the eighth major release, the fourteenth game overall in the Gran Turismo video game series, the second game to be released on the PlayStation 4 and the first on PlayStation 5. The game was released on the 4th of March, 2022, on both consoles.
On the PlayStation 5, the developers claimed that it will utilize features such as ray-tracing, 3D audio, fast loading times from the console's SSD and haptic feedback. It will also implement features from the past, present and future of the series. Support for PlayStation VR2 peripheral was added in February 2023, with more features accessible compared to previous-generation VR mode in the previous game.
