The Honda CB400SS RacingModify '05 is a Racing bike produced by Honda Motorcycles. It only appears in Tourist Trophy.

Colors[]

There is one color available for this bike, it is unnamed in-game:

  • White/Black

Description[]

The CB400SS is a simple bike with a 4-stroke single-cylinder engine and stylish radiator fins. As suggested by the "SS" designation (which stands for "Standard Single") the engine is top-notch, fitted with a radial four-valve combustion chamber and built with technological know-how accumulated over Honda's long years of building offroad bikes for sale in other countries, where both government regulations and race rules usually allow meaner machines compared to Japan. With a 19-inch rim in the front and an 18-inch rim in the rear, this bike has classic motorcycle handling.

This particular bike is a racing-ready customised job that looks like it just rolled in from the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race, a competition where for half a century Honda has strutted its stuff to the entire world. Sixteen-inch rims would have given the bike more potential, but the bike's designers left the tyre size alone. At the end of the day, this is a bike with the faithful response to execution of classic, by-the-book moves without having to worry about compensating for tyre size.

Mechanical changes are limited to the intake and exhaust systems, such as a round, old-school racing carburettor and a short megaphone muffler with excellent exhaust efficiency. The end result of these modifications is power of 33 hp at 7,000 r.p.m.—a 12% increase over the production model.
