The Honda CIVIC 1500 3door 25i '83 is a road car produced by Honda. It appears in Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, and Gran Turismo 6.

The Civic evolved into its third incarnation in September of 1983. The Civic name was already world renowned by this time, so the 3rd generation was designed to be a basic car that would be used all over the world.
There were three body types: a 3-door hatchback, a 4-door saloon, and a 5-door estate that was dubbed the "shuttle". It was no surprise that the 3-door model was the model focused on by driving enthusiasts.
The styling of the 3-door model was derived from a "four seater sports car" concept, and is still beautiful today. The designers of the car had stated that: "We designed it in the image of a four-person bobsled, with all passengers leaning synchronously into turns." Even the interior design had a functional, sporty design centred around the speedometer and tachometer.
At the time of announcement, the sports version was the 3-door 25i, which was given a body that was one size larger all around than its predecessor. The newly developed 1.5L, straight-4 SOHC engine in other grades had an output of 89 BHP and 12.8 kgfm of torque, but only the 25i, equipped with the newly developed PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system, produced 99 BHP and 13.2 kgfm of torque. On the outside, it was graced with large aerodynamic bumpers and halogen headlights, and on the inside with bucket seats and footrests.
This 3rd generation Civic also had an extraordinary ace in the hole; the Si grade added in November 1984. This car was the first Honda since the S800 - or in 14 years - to be equipped with a DOHC engine. Thanks to the PGM-FI, the mere 1.6L engine boasted a maximum output of 133 BHP, with maximum torque of 15.5 kgfm. The release of this Si shocked the Japanese small car market, and since then many hot hatches have been born.
