The Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EK) '98 is a hot hatch and the top of the line model of the sixth-generation Honda Civic. While it was sold only in Japan where some affectionately referred to it as the EK9, many foreigners have imported them from Japan through black market practices. This specific Civic Type R from the 1998 model year appears in all games since Gran Turismo 2.
