Trivia

• In the North American re-release of GT1 (Version 1.1), the vehicle has a different car banner, missing "CR-X" from its name, like the garage listing. In the original release (Version 1.0) the logo is the same seen in both Japanese and European versions.
• The concept of converting a front-engine, front-wheel drive coupe to a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive racer was later reused for the Peugeot RCZ Gr.3.
