The Honda Civic is a series of subcompact (later compact) cars built by Honda. It is perhaps famous for its engines, all of which have VTEC equipped to reduce fuel consumption.
At least one iteration of the Honda Civic appeared in every main Gran Turismo game to date. The Civics in the Gran Turismo series are primarily hatchbacks, though sedan models are also included in some games.
Gran Turismo 2 and Gran Turismo 4 have one-make events for Civics, known simply as the Civic Race. In addition, Gran Turismo 7 hosted multiple Civic-themed limited-time special event one-make races (one for the EK generation of Civic, and one for the Civic line more broadly).
