In-game description[]
"The bestselling model, continuing the appeal of the 1st generation - the fun to drive 2nd generation Fit."
Honda's best selling Jazz model (available as the FIT in the US/Asia) evolved into it's second generation model in the autumn of 2007. While maintaining the concept of a compact hatchback with a roomy interior and luggage space, the front end was lowered and the base of the A pillars were moved forward to give a bolder design that emphasized its size presence.
It won both the Good Design Award and the Japan Car of the Year and, like its predecessor, it was the best selling car for 11 months starting in November 2007.
The engine was available in a 1.3L and 1.5L, and although this powerplant was carried over from the previous generation, they have both been improved with the inclusion of i-VTEC. The sporty model RS houses the 1.5 L engine, which produces 9 BHP and 0.18 kgfm more than the previous model at 118 BHP and 14.8 kgfm torque, combined with a SMT or CVT that enables sharp performance.
The RS moniker is given to high-performance grade of Civic, and from minor revisions in 2010, the Jazz RS has become even more attractive and sporty. The special aero parts have been changed to a dynamic design that clearly differentiates it from the standard model. A performance rod connecting the right and left sides of the frames has been added, as well as special shock-absorbers and springs, different settings for the stabilisers and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Trivia[]
- Although it is the the first car that the player purchases, it is not necessarily the car the player first drives; in the tutorial, the player drives the Renault Sport Clio R.S. '11 first. Additionally, the Fit purchased in the tutorial can be sold if the player desires.
- A Fit of the same generation (although not the RS model) plays a role in a Japanese commercial for GT6, where a father and his son stops by a stoplight and found themselves suddenly surrounded by sports and race cars.
- The purpose of having the player to buy it is to prevent players who are not familiar with cars from buying another extremely slower car instead and not being able to progress in the game.
- The message that appears when buying it in the tutorial, "Why not start out by purchasing the Honda FIT RS '10?", has become a running joke within the community. This is because the player can only buy the Honda Fit, despite being told to "Why not start out".[1]
