In-game description[]

"Although it's an eco-friendly car, the Fit Hybrid is really quite sporty. This third generation Fit Hybrid boasts a 1.5L engine and a 7-speed DCT. Many praise its responsive acceleration. This particular chassis has a lower centre of gravity, allowing for more stable handling."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central
"When it comes to Japanese compact cars, it's hard to beat the Honda Fit. This is the third-generation Fit - a hybrid model that features electric motors and a gas-powered engine. What's more, the third generation motors are twice as powerful as those in the second generation model. The torque gets going as soon as you put your foot down, making this a powerful little car that's easy to handle."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Used Car Dealership

Car Index (GT7)[]

The hybrid system of the first and second generation Fit Hybrid are completely different systems. In the Honda IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) system of the first generation model, a motor is connected directly to the engine, and while using the engine as the main power source, the motor provides power assist as necessary. In the 2nd generation Fit Hybrid, a new 7 speed dual clutch transmission with a built-in electric motor is combined with the engine in the new Sport Hybrid i-DCD (Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive) system. There are many advantages to the i-DCD where the engine and motor are separate. It is possible to prevent energy loss during regenerative power generation, and it can be driven in engine, Hybrid, or EV modes according to the driving conditions.

This i-DCD system combined with a 1.5L i-VTEC engine produces a combined output of 137 BHP. This makes powerful, sporty driving possible while achieving a high fuel economy of 2.7 l/100 km in the JC08 mode.

Aside from utilising this system, the rest of the car is common with the standard petrol 3rd generation Fit. There are 4 grade models with different equipment, but the most sporty S package is the only model available with a paddle shifter.

Café Conversations (GT7)[]

Stella[]

The Honda Fit is one of Japan's most famous compact cars. By the time this third-generation model debuted in 2013, 2,000,000 units had been sold in Japan alone! It is a perennial bestseller! From this model on, the Fit Hybrid began featuring a more powerful engine. Which reminds me—Do you know the 'Civic'? It's another Honda compact car. Like the Fit, the older Civic is a front-wheel drive compact... That drives just like a sportscar!
