  • The background menu for GT3's License Center depicts the track's dragstrip under the Sears Point Raceway name. Curiously enough, there is a logo for NASCAR Winston Cup Series on it, with tobacco sponsor (Winston) left intact.
  • Sears Point Raceway, as it was known at the time, was used by Polyphony Digital to drive and record engine sounds while creating Gran Turismo 1 and Gran Turismo 2, as seen on the Making of Gran Turismo videoes found in the Playstation Underground discs.
