The Infiniti Coupe Concept '06 is a concept car produced by Infiniti. It appears in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6.
In-game description[]
"The V36 concept coupe that defined the high-quality image of Infiniti."
Aside from a very small number of exceptions, the Skyline used to be a Japan-only domestic model, being marketed as the V35. As it turned toward the global market, the Skyline was given a new badge as the Infiniti G35.
The G35 coupe received good reviews in the US. Its luxurious styling and powerful engine allowed it to cut into the premium coupe market dominated by Mercedes and BMW. With its great success, the Infiniti really established itself as a premium brand.
In 2006, when Nissan was due for a model change, Nissan first introduced a coupe concept car at the Detroit motor show at the beginning of the year. This was the Infiniti Coupe Concept. The strategy was to have the trend setting G35 coupe lead the way for a successful model change.
The base silhouette was inherited from the V35. The flowing lines of the roof and the smooth, compact interior appear to be shared, but by changing the lines of the door and height of the front fascia[1], a sharper impression is achieved. The L-shaped headlights are a feature shared between all new Infinitis, and you can tell that the concept car is very close to the commercial model.
The special featured compared to the original V35 were parts like the bumper fascia[1] that come to a point in the middle, a rear view system that utilizes cameras instead of mirrors, and tires that exceed 20 inches in size.

- For some reason, this car is listed as Nissan SKYLINE Coupe Concept '07 in GT5P, although it does have Infiniti badges. This was later fixed in GT5.
- The drivetrain was also unlisted in that game.
