The Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Roadster is a concept car produced by Jaguar created for the Vision Gran Turismo project. The third variation, after the Coupé and the SV, first appears in Gran Turismo 7.

Its three electric motors are capable of outputting over 986.2 BHP. Indeed, it provides the pure driving experience racers have come to expect from Jaguar. The body design was inspired by Jaguar's iconic D-Type racing car. The D-Type competed in the 1950s, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans an impressive three times! The Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Roadster is an all-electric single-seater which combines a race-proven, state-of-the-art powertrain with a taut, sculpted form inspired by the iconic, timeless Jaguar D-type.
Following the success of the original Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Coupe and Vision Gran Turismo SV endurance racer, the Gran Turismo Roadster is designed to bring gamers the pure, visceral driving experience of an open-cockpit Jaguar sports car powered by three electric motors generating a total power output of more than 986.2 HP.
The flowing surfaces, dramatic lines and perfect proportions of the first two Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo cars are instantly recognizable, but in place of a deployable canopy is a swept-back aero screen directly in front of the driver. Behind, a modern interpretation of the fin synonymous with the three-time Le Mans-winning D-type, is aerodynamically optimized using the latest computational fluid dynamic tools to be deployable at speed for enhanced stability with minimal drag.
The fin also features one of the beautiful details found on the Roadster, here in the form of a Union Jack etched into the fin itself, and subtly illuminated by LEDs. The theme continues with the hand-crafted leather straps on the front fenders and iconic roundel lights in the grille.
The Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Roadster's dramatic, driver-focused interior combines lightweight, luxurious materials and finishes with stunningly intricate details. Looking out onto the gracefully long hood, gamers will be fully immersed in the action.

Trivia[]
- Unusually for the roadster variant, this is the same weight as the coupe variant, despite having only one seat and lacking a complete roof. This might be due to the stiffening required (convertible cars are less stiff), however.
