In-game description[]

The XK series is a sports model with the quality and class that defines Jaguar as a premium brand. The styling of the 2nd generation model which underwent a model change in 2006, was performed by Jaguar's design director Ian Callum. The car combines the classic long nose & short deck sportscar silhouette with modern details, and the craftmanship of the leather and wood interior also follows in Jaguar's tradition of defining British class and atmosphere.

The high-performance XKR version made its appearance in 2007. Initially it was given a supercharged 4.2 L V8 producing 420 BHP. but in a minor change introduced in 2009 it was replaced with a supercharged 5 L direct injection V8 producing 502 BHP. Already endowed with a lightweight, high-strength aluminium body, it showed the superb acceleration and handling of a sportscar. It was also highly regarded for not disregarding comfort when driving in your everyday urban environments.

In 2011, Jaguar went on to release an even more aggressive model, the XKR-S. The exhaust system was tuned and a special intercooler was added, raising the power output to 542 BHP. Improvements were also made on the chassis side, with spring rates raised by 28%. Improved aerodynamic parts were added as well to the package.

Thus the XKR-S attained a level of performance equal to that of supercars, becoming the first Jaguar road car to achieve a top speed of 300 km/h.
