Description[]
During the 20 years it was in production, the Ninja was tuned and tweaked by numerous custom tuners. This racing-modified Ninja represents 20 years of Ninja evolution.
Generating 130 hp at 9,500 r.p.m., the engine achieves superior intake and exhaust efficiency with high-performance carburettors and a titanium 4-into-1 muffler. To handle the extra heat generated by the high-powered engine, the bike is fitted with a larger radiator and an oil cooler.
The stock wheels were replaced with magnesium rims, and a fully adjustable high-performance suspension kit was installed in the front and rear. The machined aluminum fork clamp reduces offset, and the aluminum swing arm is braced and has adjustable suspension linkage.
The racing-spec disc brakes have radial-mounted four-pot calipers in the front and compact, floating-mounted two-pot calipers in the rear. To handle the boosted engine power and the extra-stiff suspension, the chassis is reinforced with extra bracing.
