In-game description[]

"This machine was introduced to celebrate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary. Called the Veneno, it was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This coupé model was a one-off, made especially for display at the show. However, the company built three more to meet the demands of passionate Lamborghini aficionados. Later, nine roadsters were produced for sale. Each Veneno is a one-of-a-kind example that has a solid place in Lamborghini history. How much does it cost? Well, if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central

The Veneno is a special model of Lamborghini introduced at the Geneva Auto Show in 2013. This is a limited production road car commemorating the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini; only a total of 3 cars were ever sold.

The Veneno is based on Lamborghini's flagship Aventador, with a stunning exterior design and precision aerodynamics that hint at a new generation of Lamborghini. The front section includes an extremely low V shaped front nose and has all the properties of a front wing on a formula car. Combined with the high mounted variable rear wing, gigantic rear diffuser and a shark fin that extends from the roof to the rear wing, massive downforce is created to help increase cornering speed.

The full time four-wheel drive system is combined with a pushrod suspension and powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine, with a 7-speed 2 pedal MT as in the Aventador. However, for the Veneno the engine power has been raised to 739 BHP. Together with additional weight reductions, including a carbon monocoque, the car is 125 kg lighter than the Aventador at 1,450 kg. The performance difference is clear: 0-100 km/h is attained in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 355 km/h.

In December of 2013, a roadster version with no roof or side windows was also announced, and 9 of these cars were sold.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only "fixed" reward car in GT Sport that can alternatively be bought from Brand Central under normal circumstances (excluding the Mercedes-AMG GT3 '16, Sauber Mercedes C9 '89 and Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ 2017 that can be won by the Lewis Hamilton Time Trial Challenge paid DLC).
  • In Gran Turismo 7, prior to the addition of the Aston Martin Valkyrie '21 in Update 1.35, this was the most expensive car available for purchase in Brand Central.
    • However, it still remains as the most expensive invitation-exclusive car in that game.
  • In the early versions of GT Sport, the car's transmission type had been incorrectly treated as automatic, but it was corrected to semi-automatic in version 1.45. However in GT7, it was reverted to automatic again.
